Privacy Policy
Nadav is built by Unik Solutions for Tamil Nadu college students.
What we collect, and why
To create your account: your name, email, and Google account identifier (from Google Sign-In).
To build your profile: your college, branch, year, target role, skills, and every achievement block you add (hackathons, internships, projects, and so on) — you choose what to add.
To keep your account age-appropriate: the year you were born, so we can apply the protections DPDP requires for under-18 accounts (see "If you're under 18" below).
We do not collect your date of birth, home address, or any government ID number — we have no use for them and don't ask.
Who sees what
- You can always see everything in your account.
- Your college's faculty can see aggregate placement readiness for their students — never an individual student's behaviour on the app.
- The public sees nothing about you unless you turn your public profile on. It is off by default. When on, your phone number, email and CGPA still stay private unless you choose otherwise.
- Nobody else. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
Third parties we use
- Google Sign-In — to create and log into your account, instead of a separate password.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging — not part of the app today; push notifications (e.g. weekly nudges) are planned but not yet built. This section will be updated when they ship.
- YouTube — only if and when video features are enabled for your account; not part of the app today.
We do not use any analytics or advertising SDK, and we never send your data to an AI service on your behalf — if you use a prompt in the app, it's copied to your clipboard for you to paste into an AI chat of your own choosing; nothing about you is transmitted automatically.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your profile, your blocks, your resumes, and your consent records are deleted immediately — not just hidden. See "Deleting your account" below.
If you're under 18
Your public profile is unavailable until you turn 18. We also skip the behavioural tracking used to improve gap suggestions for adult accounts, and your data is never used for recruiter visibility while you're under 18.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from inside the app, or without installing anything at nadav.in/delete-account. Deletion is immediate and permanent — we do not keep a recoverable copy.
